If you guys rent the track, do we still have to obey their rules? The battery is probably going to be relocated to the trunk and don't really want to do a kill switch this year. Have another 9 who is willing to do the tuning. Should make a list and month you guys wanna do this.

As far as sd goes, i gotta look into again, funds are low this year, already swapping to another exhaust and may downsize to a single fuel pump and possibly s2's instead. Got my new toy i'll be messing w/over the summer.

And to anyone who though i sold my evo, no i didn't, lol. Alex, dude was messing w/you man. Haven't got a offer i like to let it go just yet.

Gizzmo, i've heard of them but you should just get a greddy or hks unit if you really want a ebc. You can always just get a mbc from buschur, they have the one that goes in the cabin were you can switch from a hi to low setting i believe.

I've flashed my ecu well over 50 times and never had a problem. The thing is that its a computer that rides around in a car and you never know when it will fail or not flash etc. but the chances of that are pretty low.

The worst things that can happen are your laptop dying or crashing when its loading the rom, in which case the car is still in write mode and won't reset.

Just be sure to write down your immob code so if something does happen you'll have it for the new ecu.

Budd- when I get the log wire for the WB AFR could you possibly help me install it.....something I've never done before and would rather have someone looking over my shoulder that knows instead of me screwing it up,you won't have to do anything and I'll bring basic tools to a degree lol but just tell me if I'm screwing anything up, looks simple as is but would be more comfortable with a knowledgable person present
I'd suggest the LC-1 wideband. You can connect it via serial to a laptop for logging, or better yet run it through your ECU and log with ECUflash.

I highly suggest you read up plenty before doing this. It took me a few hours to figure it out, but it works now. I'm no expert, but I'll be happy to help if you go this route.

+1 for the lc1, I've owned that and the aem. The aem was easier to install and setup and doesn't need to be calibrated but it seemed to be less accurate and the gauge was smaller than I liked. If you haven't already download merlin's tuning guide (google it). It has a ton of information.

Sorry guys, I like the idea of a tuner...but I'm not gonna drop the money for my stock-ish setup. I've pretty much milked my setup to it's max potential. The only way I'll make better times is dropping my 60's, which is always a challenge at ARP. It's horrible that I have AWD and one of the best sets of tires out there, and I can't manage to beat the 1.6 60's that I used to do on all-seasons in Kansas.

Sounds like it's time for some new upgrades....

I'm in to meet up prior to snowboarding, but have a hockey double header that afternoon. What time?

There's no incentive to spending more money on that car with the lack of tuners, areas to self-tune, ****ty premium gas, expensive race gas, lack of e85, ****ty road conditions, short track season...

I did what I've been trying to do for years...hit an 11 on a stock turbo. Did that. Until the car's paid off, and I'm out of Alaska, my modding days are done.
