Good numbers too,

The tire issue is some what solved and I don't have the suspension for autox so I'll be running it down the strip a few times, would love to autox it but can't until suspension is upgraded, but the tires I'll be getting are the advan stock tires that the Evo come on, there cheap and I'm not looking for high performance autox tires, just enough to launch it down the strip 4-5 times, so nothing big at all.

Mellon has been great to work with. He'll explain in detail every change he makes and why he is making it. I look forward to a race gas tune next. I don't expect leaps and gains in HP, but I think that TQ will jump right up.

Perrin Intake
Walbro 255
Hallman Pro RX
ETS 3.5" intercooler
ETS LICP
ETS short route UICP
AMS Turboback w/test pipe
Stock turbo, stock cams, stock 02 housing, stock manifolds and TB

24lbs of boost (drops to about 22 lbs)
Omni 4bar map sensor
Mil spec TB seals

blacksunset, my 255's rub on the inner fender well. Of course I spend a lot of time at full steering lock with all the AutoX that I do. I think even the stock wheels and 245's do it as well in an AutoX setting. +38mm offset 17" by 9" 5zigen FN01C

The less people at the track the better...most of the imports and sport compacts show up on the wednesday night test and tunes.

Im pretty happy with those #'s on 90 oct.

If you haven't done a boost leak test on your car I highly suggest it. Even stock.

I just wonder how retarded timing is with 90 octane at 24 psi.

Man, I can only imagine what I'm putting out since I'm a little more power modded.

Send me a log (3rd gear) and weight of your occupants and I'll post up the chart.

I'm running Hankook RS3's, 255/40/17 on 17x9.5 rims with no rubbing/fender rolling.

Love the tires! FWIW, I had Starspecs before. They seem the same to me (so far!), but the comparison is a little unfair because I went with wider rims & shorter sidewall this time.

Yea,
I'm thinking about getting the OEM tires for now and wait to get the v12 or star specs,

I can get the oem ones for 425 and not pay for shipping and the star spec no one has in stock and I would have to pay the 600 or so then 168 for shipping, could do for switch over/install for the price of the v12 or star specs, those are gonna have to wait till the lower 48

All right, I'm back from my four day bender....I mean TDY.

Great gains on the tune Clint, how many 3rd gear pulls did you have to do in all?

Matt- Check on AAFES.com > online mall> automotive> and then ordertire.com, I ordered my Starspecs from them, they price matched Tirerack.com and beat them by $100 on shipping, just gotta ask them....

Haha

I probably made 9-11 pulls from 2500 to 7/8k. Prior to that there were probably 12 short RPM pulls.

Notice, that this version of VD is not out to the public yet, and there is no SAE correction. With the temp and pressure that day it would probably drop 12 or so HP. LOL
