Yup, this is where all the AK Evo's hang out. The board definitely is not as active as the AKIC guys, but i think we just spend more time driving and tinkering with our cars and less time on the net. Good luck with the Evo search.

Hey thanks for the links on those evos. I didn't realize that we had separate craigslist listings for fairbanks and the valley, thats neat. Ideally i would like an 06 ww rs but i doubt i am going to find that in the ak, argh. We'll see. Also you guys have probably heard of it but tanacross is awesome you all should definitely go, it would be great to have more evos in attendance.

I bought my heater pads from carquest and high temp RTV siliconed them to the oil pan and tranny. Had one under the battery for a while but it was a little too hot for most of the winter.
I drove my Evo up the Alcan- it was in the fall and all those frost heaves and breaks around destruction bay were fun- all 4 tires were in the air on many occasions!!! The thing I could have done without were the rock chips on the hood and front bumper which I had painted when I got back.

so guys, when we gonna do a meet and greet? I been here a little over a week and a half and would like to meet some other Evo owners.
I've seen a couple of them while looking for houses, but they've both been parked. Not seen any driving around..
and AKevo, that's why I'm glad I drove my outlander instead of my Evo. Man, those roads sucked.

Evan, it was nice to meet you today. Hopefully we can convince these other Evo guys to step outside sometime.
With that being said, c'mon fellas--- we need to get something together. Don't tell me that a bunch of Subaru owners can put something together all the time, but we can't?
