trunk plugs

As I was looking in my trunk, I noticed that there are two plugs. Does anyone know where these plugs go into or what plugs into them? One is a male (white) plug, and the other is a female (black) plug. Thanks.

It might be for a wing with a brake light in it.

I have the stock spoiler with the brake light in it, and it works without the use of these plugs. My car doesn't come with the 3rd brake light that sits in the rear dash, but I'm thinking that one of the plugs might be for that, if they kept the wiring from the 02-03s.

yeah it might be. because I traded my wing with the brake light in it to a guy that had a cf wing. and he already had the plug for the light in the wing.

I saw a pic of an 02 lancer's trunk. That lancer only had 2 plugs, one for the spoiler, and one was for the trunk lamp. Anyone know what changed from the 02 to 04?
