Front plate required?
Front plate required?
wassup everyone. so does anyone know if the front plate is required? when i got my VIII awhile back at the dealership it came without one. just curious. i hear people say yes you do need one? haven't got pulled over yet (knock on wood) so what you peeps think.
Yes, it is required by law. I have had my Evo for 2 yrs without a front plate and have never been pulled over. I wouldn't worry about it, they look ugly and cops rarely hassle you. Just my experience.

i have'd my evo for almost 2 years and havent had my front plate on at all. the guy i bought it from told me to just keep it in my car, and if i do get pulled over, throw it on the dash. i keep mine beside my passenger seat.

and I got one ticket in my Miata that was dismissed in court - I used some doublesided tape to put the front plate on the car, took a picture and brought it to court
there's no way in hell I'd drill holes in that nice bumper. It's a stupid law that isn't really enforced.
