northwest adjustment?

any of u guys able to get out of this in the northwest? i prefer not to be paying so much over sticker cuz of this adjustment. makes me almost want to head to cali for a better deal (from what i read on here). i know most of u guys bought from mountain. any of u guys fight to dump this adjustment? i have a disequity trade im working out and adding this silly adjustment on top of it makes it harder to deal.

they are gonna try to find me a used evo 9 or low mileage evo 8 and that should take out that silly adjustment. let me know what u guys did at the shop to get out of it! its wild to see an evo 9 MR go for over 40k when cali shops do them for 35k.

I would never pay over MSRP. You need to call around and find a better deal.

In Portland I can only suggest you avoid Beaverton Mitsubishi. I will avoid the details but lets just say that I had a problem with every part of the process.

there's a thread of "black listed dealerships" on this board. As long as you avoid those, you should be ok to shop around.

Since I moved out here from San Francisco, back in Aug. '04 I bought my vehicle from San Rafael Mitsubishi. Speak to Jon the owner and he'll hook you up. I believe SR Mitsu from where I live now (Eugene, or) is 8 hrs. away. I'm used to driving long distances, so I believe 8 hrs. isn't that bad especially when 1) you'll get a great deal and 2) you'll have a sweet car to be in for duration.

I highly recommend you contact Mark @ South Coast Mitsubishi, even with a diseq trade-in. Even with shipping cars both ways (my trade it down to Mark, my MR up to me in Portland), I still came in over $2000 under MSRP. The February price for MRs was $32,799 (which is what I paid), the March price was $31,999. Other models have equally ridiculous price reductions. Shipping will cost you a a couple grand, but service from DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) is excellent. They advertise on here, so just search for "South Coast Mitsubishi" and you'll find their current ad / pricing.

SOUTH COAST MITSU, no one can beat their prices, HANDS DOWN. Just drive down and drive evo back up. it's perfect cuz you get to drive the evo for a long time.... hehe. look for em in the vendor forums, they're there!

Yeah I got my MR at Rey Reece in Portland for $35,000, but like evoeightguy said, talk to the fleet manager. Salesmen can be the worst.
