Nwe???

Thinking about giving up on the whole Northwest Evolutions idea. I know the interest is there, but the participation isnt. Aside from a few members (you know who you are) the lack of participation has come to a complete hault. Looking for your thoughts on what I should do???

I dont want to end it but the time invested in this club isnt adding up in my opinion. I started NWE a little over a year ago and although we came out strong,,, we have just sort of fizzled out (so to speak). I really want to make this work but I can only do so much.

its easy to do the drives,,,,, what isnt easy is the funding and keeping people interested. People want a website, t-shirts, decals, etc,,,,,,,,,,,,

ahhhhh now i see what u r talkin about. So what if a website is started and to get involved in the club and the webpage u would have to pay a one time fee of lets say $20. With how many people i would believe that would be intereseted in this you could earn enough to maintain the page and probably have shirts and stuff made to sell on the webpage. Just a thought

I know a lot can happen in a year and i post events as soon as i hear about them. everyone expressed interest in auto x and I have started to do that. Its a lot of fun. the next one is on the 23rd. It just seems I find myself posting and a few people showing up(which is great). The yahoo groups site has over 50 members but as stated before the participation isnt there, WTF!!!!!

THe .com has been paid for, the layout paid for, finding someone to put it together hasnt happened. THe "club dues" have been discussed and a $25 fee for the year was thrown around. I never wanted to charge a fee to be in the club but the interest has grown and I cant fund this all by myself. I dunno.
On a side note: I understand everyone has a life, but I also need to state that if you want to be in the club, BE IN THE CLUB!!!
Sorry if this comes off the wrong way, I hope you understand?

As you undoubtably have seen i am a new member to this site and am still tryin to find my way around. my other friends have not signed up yet but i know that they will always jump on any opportunity to meet another evo owner. We have also tried to set up a basis in our redmond kirkland area and have found a fare amount of evo's in this area. The next time i meet with them i will make sure to mention that they should all sign up for this site and hopefully help contribute to the club
