Usually, my price is about $5, but I am now basing my prices on oil futures .

For the fuel it really depends on your setup. If you are running a catalytic converter I would say run unleaded. If you are going to run high boost and alot of timing I would run 114 but if you are just looking for a little more safety with stock boost and ignition timing, 100 should be fine.

Will it hurt the cat or sensors mixing 5 gals of leaded with 5 unleaded just once?

Torquefreaks as mentioned above has both 120 leaded and VP 104 (i.e. 114 and 100 real octane respectivly). We offer it for $5.95 a gallon, and methanol is $4.50 a gallon

I dont think that it would hurt your cat, but you might not want to take that chance. It might be a better option just to find 100 octane unleaded for now, better to be safe than sorry.

question for the guy sthat do this drag racing stuff....

i am new to this, so yea my 60 foot times suck ***. but i am going to make an effort to get better.

so last Saturday i went twice (350 cars tech`d as you know) and after the second run i was told i was over the 90db limit. and i would not be a~loud to run anymore that night. So does this mean i should run in the loud car line? and that i have to quit every time at 10pm....

Any info would be great, thanks guys

What was your dp rating? i ran at 10:30 and they didn't say anything to me at that time, but i then again at about 11:40 on my last run she said that i ran a 92dp, i was like...oh ****. hehe. I don't know how accurate those readings are but i'm heading there at about 6 just to make sure i get enough runs before 10. hehe. O BTW i was the black evo that ran the 12.0. You might wanna launch with your launch control, if you have it. You're trapped i think 119 if i remember correctly but your 60 wasn't good. See ya tonight

yea i was using my launch control. it is set at 5500. the first run i think that the fuel hadnt all goten out of the lines yet...

yea i was trapping 119 and i ran a 12.9 with a 2.4 60 foot.... major bog... second run i ran a 12.2 @ 118 with a 2.04 60 foot.

i ran a 96db. so i am close to the limit. i am planning on getting there early as well. i would like to get more than 2 runs in while waiting 3 hours

i got up to the line, launch contol, 5500rpm`s take off great launch, then POP, clunk clunk, clunk.

launch`d anf had a little wheel hop. let off the gas a little bit to caml the car down, seem`d like it was good so i floor`d it. POP!!! braked, didnt even make it past the concrete area, when on the track and back around to the staging area. i could see the boot all messed up, shiny metal on the axle, and lots of loud poping... so yea i broke it. the price we pay to have fun. now i just need to fix it so it wont break again....
pretty sure i broke the right front axle, cv joint, and some more stuff....

Had the car tow`d out to PDXTuning. will know more soon
