If you don't want to spend any extra money, you can use the helmets they provide at the event. They are open face and varied sizes. They work out well.

That being said, I bought a Bell M3 and it sleeps next to me at night. It was expensive, but it's really only a one-time investment that will save your life if the time comes. Not something you should skimp out on.

I figured I would get one of those Harley type brain buckets and put a spike through the top. Just put a snell approved sticker on the back and Im good to go.

you might consider side spikes instead. the top of your helmet is already bouncing off the ceiling of the car. although, i guess you could just open the sun roof. realistically speaking, if you are concerned with your own safety, the only time you need to wear a helmet is when you are baby sitting cones. there were a couple scary moments in bremerton last time out.

wrecked the sti - gotta wait til the following week of the auto-x for my intercooler to come in ... gotta put up with the rental for the next couple weeks - sorry guys... Tacoma Drivers SUCK BIG TIME!!!

... pissed off too, I just ran a 12.7 -1/4 mile and my intercooler piping is all fixed too... grrr...
