Here is a pic of inside the manifold that comes with the kit. Install is a bit slow since its the weekend And as we all know when they say its "bolt on", is bit of a misnomer. That being said its going fine. I would expect to see this car out next weekend at the track. I'll be posting pics in here periodically.

heres another with the mani mounted and the turbo on. If you look hard enough in the upper left hand corner you can see Claude's red shirt. Had to come check out the setup yesterday

Damn dude you sure like to break ***** on these boards! I'll bet Mr. Rob could run 11's with Paul's car even without the GT35 turbo...I mean Paul got a 12.1 and I don't think he's got much drag racing experience under his belt. I can remember not too long ago he was like "so you go at the last yellow?" It's not hard for a really good driver to find another couple tenths or so.

Damn sounds like it's becoming a very expensive turbo install. If I get a turbo upgrade it's going to be something like a 20g-9-5 or whatever Gruppe-S is talking about building with a 11.5 cm2 turbine housing so I can do it myself in my garage without a kit. Hope everything turns out well, looks like your car is going through surgery!

Are you sure it should take a bunch of pros like TQF more than a day and custom fabrication to install a BR bolt-on kit? I mean, I've heard of fit & finish problems with BR products, but that seems ridiculous. Why wouldn't BR mention you needed a new LICP?

EDIT: I'm not trying to diss on either TQF or BR, I'm just saying it seems like something is wrong if it's taking this long.

The turbo kit should take about ~3-4 hours to install. The rod bolts will probably take a good 2-3 hours and the head studs will take about a hour. I think this is TQF first go doing this stuff on an EVO, so I would factor in another 2-3 hours.

The BR LICP is for there deluxe intercooler. Why didn't you ask for LICP that would fit there race FMIC? That would mount pretty close to your Perrin I/C.

Keep in mind guys that this work started on a weekend, and hence you have the "weekend" resources available. Obviously this is the first time around on it, but lets put it this way. Today is when the techs are on it. This weekend was just me, paul, and his brother in law. Mostly paul....

Ahhhhhhhhh ok got it. I take back my earlier comment about Paul just chillin while you guys do all the work

To change the connecting rod bolts do you drop the oil pan and do it from the bottom with the engine still in?
