Which Forge BOV are you using? The new RS can handle upto 38psi. The old style Forge DV can handle up to 60psi w/ the red spring.

He told me on the phone this morning he was running 28-29psi with a mix of 92 and 114.

The power he is making definately is not right. Something is hindering the performance of that turbo. Even with the temps being in the mid 90's it should still be alot more than 421. I know the mass air flow sensor will hinder the performance some but with that much boost it should be much higher I would think. My car on C16 and 29 psi with our 3065 kit made 462hp on our Mustang dyno. We had a 35R car in here not long ago on pump gas and alcohol with the AEM and he was making right around 474hp if my memory serves me correctly.

Paul let me know what you get figured out with this setup and that lower IC pipe solution. I would like to see this thing at least go past 500hp on a dynojet and that should not be a problem at all.

^Agreed. It's nice when the people you buy parts from actually reply with posts letting you know when your car is/isn't running at its prime.........damn cheap used parts haha.

I know we just discussed this on the phone but take the catback pipe off to see if there is a restriction there. Running it on for a short time with just the downpipe and ORP shouldnt hurt anything.

You said it is a "custom" made catback with a flowmaster muffler. Its a possibility that there is a restriction there somewhere. I cant say for sure thats what it is but its a possibility. Let me know on the outcome.

Like I had said there is something in the equation that does not belong in the mix. Its also the possibility of the stock MAFS not allowing it to be tuned the way it needs to be but I know there are people out there making really good power with the stock MAFS. We will get this figured out dont worry.

EDIT: He is using the new flashing software for tuning.

"Custom" in my experience normally means a muffler shop crimp-fit the pipes...please don't tell me you cheaped out on the exhaust! You need a real mandrel-bent exhaust for proper flow. I got my Injen 3" turbo-back w/ test pipe for ~$700 from Tony (Speed Concept). It's super quiet even with no cat! I think you can get the Megan even cheaper but I don't know if it comes w/ a test pipe...

Oh yeah and get the Jiffy Lube garbage fluids out of your tranny & diffs...that stuff is probably robbing all your power

alright i got it figured out for the most part i went and put on the horsepower freak 3.5in exhaust!!! well my boost shot up 4lbs and when i hit about 5000rpms the car squats and takes off like a batt out of hell....so i think what was happening was alot of back pressure with the new exhaust im flowing alot more and not maken the turbo work so hard. i order the bushur intake so that will help also. but i want to say that i did the install and and torque freaks did the tune they did a awesome job and the low #s are do to my cheap parts not there tuneing so when there derick gets back well see what im putting down.

he is not that far off from where he should be. most of you have pipe dreams thinking just by bolting on 35r and wham your making 550-600 whp.(not directed at you paul ) part of the problem im sure is the mix of gas. 92-114 mix will only get you 108 +- oct. not good enough IMO for 29-30 psi. i netted 441 at 27 psi straight 110. im sure a couple little things can be tinkered with to raise is up a bit. besides the car will function way different on the road than it will on the dyno. your exhaust may be a part of the puzzle also. but on a side note ive got a true 3" with 2 12" resinators. they rob power big time, but not 50-60 whp. put some straight 110 or c16 in and go drive it. then tell us your disappointed. i bet not

Man i want to do a 35r kit, but with all the issues and now the clutch... scares me because I have that clutch too and I dont think i am as mech. talented as Ifarted so...Would love to see some number too.

Also TF tuned my car too they did a GREAT job, like everyone said probably the temp, parts and a mixture of other things. They got 330 aty 21 psi so...they are good

i dont get how people go through clutches. im running the stock clutch and mine is fine. im running a 3076 and 280's on pump ot is 415 and on race about 510 and its fine. although i dont really drop it that often but still. im scared to get a clutch and it just go out like everyone elses.
