I got pulled over once for my license plate. She said she noticed I didn't have one. Well, I think it was the wing that she noticed, because my plate was on the whole time. She of course apologized and since she had me stopped she went ahead and ran my license and registration.
Thanks for wasting my time pulling me over because you think since I have a wing I must be doing something wrong.
It is the stock wing.
I wonder if Porsche owners get screwed with like this?

Word to a CF trunk lid!
Or If someone made a cloaking device that would make my car look like a minivan or a truck I wouldn't even get a second look.
It is a good thing my car is silver and not a brighter color, or I would never make it anywhere.

Good to see you have to deal with the same bs we deal with over here. I got pulled recently and treated the same way and was only doing a few over the speed limit. My friend in his mustang got pulled over for doing 115, 127, and 119 in a 65 and he was let go. Cop said the car sounded great now slow down. If it was me, I would be in jail
Take the wing off and hope for the best

I got pulled over once and the cop tried to give me a ticket for my exhaust being to loud. Well I still had the stock exhaust, and I was trying to explain to him it was stock. It got pretty bad but I wasn’t going to let him give a ticket for nothing. Well it turns out he saw my license plate frame, which was one that I had gotten from HKS and this assured him that I had an after market exhaust. It really pissed me off, that all he was doing was looking for an excuse to write a ticket

Exactly... some cops see imports as "street racers" and American muscle cars as "street rods"...depends on who you run into out there... I bet, if SpooksEvo were in a Mustang, this cop would of given him the
for firing up the flowmaster pipes

Well I personally don't like the squeely sounding BOV's I like the louder wooshing ones. I only been accused of peeling out when my friend Dru did that in his car and he was following me. Cop accused the more Fast and Furious lookin car out of the two, me.
Personally I'd hate to meet up with a police officer on a horse, my bov tends to send horses running when it pops off near them. In germany, the funniest thing would have to be driving through a small town and having my BOV pop off next to some girls on rollar blades.. both stumbled and one fell down. An Evo in Germany is extremely rare, and one with a bov is even more rarer.

So, that is rediculous that you got pulled over by a bike cop, i would laugh so hard if a peddle po tried to wave me over, i would flip him off and spit on him and keep going. Also, i doubt they can write tickets for traffic violations, that's why he let you go.
FYI: It's actually loudest at full boost at about 3500 rpm's, at 7k your boost has tapered significantly.

cops in oly are way too bored...if you had kept goin he woulda probably accused you of trying to elude him...i got pulled over once and the guy said my oem sidemarkers were illegal cause they were white(stock orange bulbs still)so i had to turn them on to show him they lit up orange, to avoid a ticket
i've got the same bov, and been harassed for the same thing. turned on to a street, speed limit of 45, accelerated in 1st, then coasted into second. all the sudden a cop car comes flying the other direction and swerves across my lane infront of me, almost t-boning me. Says i was spinning 1st through 3rd. Honestly that's the only time i was a jerk to a cop. He started checking my tint and saying my exhaust was too loud... same result, got outta it with a warning, but he said "i'm flagging you in the system, if you get pulled over again, you WILL get a ticket". i've been pulled over twice since, no tickets lol
