I agree, Oly cops must be really board and just driving around looking for me to follow. I can't count how many times I have had them flip a B and follow me.

That is probably why he was writting down all of my info, so he can flag me in the system. I wonder how long that lasts for? Anyone have any Ideas?

well u should be able to beat him if hes on horseback. the weight to hp ratio works wonder here. 250+ cop ( 180 regular+70 with donuts)/1 hp, ur car weights like what, 3400 with driver at say 300whp? yeah, u should be able to beat him.

but on the serious note, cops can be aholes sometime. its like a power trip to them because of how they were picked when younger. there arent alot of good cops left nowadays. a good cop will still give u a ticket, but they give u a real ticket and not a bs ticket. if i was speeding in an evo, or any other "race" cars, and an officer pulls me over for a speeding ticket, id gladly sign my ticket ( even though i dont want to). know why? because i was wrong. of course if i was giving a bs ticket, id take that to court and fight it out then a file a complain against the officer for profiling. i was pulled over last week for doing things i shouldnt be doing, and i was quiet the whole time and the officer gave me two tickets instead of arresting me. even if he was to arrest me for that one stupid reason and not any other bs reasons, id still consider him a good cop because he was just doing his job.

I agree Racerxl99..If I was truely being an idiot I would expect to get a ticket. It is really too bad that there are so many cops out there busting our coconuts over stupid crap like stock clear side markers and blow off valves that sound like we are pealing out.

My opinion thats just a scare tactic. Police states rule through fear of punishment. The amount of processing that would go through such a system is not currently feasible at the automotive level. Besides they have to do paperwork everytime they ticket, its not like he calls in your plate and BOOM you are flagged in teh system. Its 1984 alright, but Orwell missed one important point...human incompitence.

No doubt about the scare tactics. I have had plenty of those. The problem is that it is real easy to smell the BS when they have no clue what they are talking about, especially when he asked me if my tail lights were aftermarket. Det De De!

Personally I'd hate to meet up with a police officer on a horse, my bov tends to send horses running when it pops off near them. In germany, the funniest thing would have to be driving through a small town and having my BOV pop off next to some girls on rollar blades.. both stumbled and one fell down. An Evo in Germany is extremely rare, and one with a bov is even more rarer.

I do have to say it is rather fun to scare people with the BOV sound. I have had several people curse out loud at me and more that I can count with girls screaming.

Haha, that sucks but at least he didn't write you a ticket... I had almost the exact same thing happen to me in my MR2 Turbo and when I told the cop that he was wrong and I didn't burn out, he just got this super pissed off look on his face and I could tell right then I was getting a ticket... Sure enough, it was like a $300 ticket for something like "unlawful display of power" or some crap, I don't even remember now. I ended up going to court and getting out of it, so at least I didn't have to pay and it was never on my record, but still, what a hassle.

Damn $300 ticket. What a jerk! You should be able to charge them for wasting yours and the courts time. Thank goodness no ticket. I would have been pissed.
