Pulled over! again
I just don't understand why, but I got pulled over again. Every time it is always something so off the wall that I don't even know what to say to officer Friendly.
This time I was pulling away from a stop sign to take a left as another vehicle was approaching. I shifted at about 3500rpms from first into second and in front of me a bicyclist jumped off of his bike and stood in the road holding his hand up and waving me over. He was looking at me as if I ran over his dog and flipped him off. As soon as I noticed he was an officer of course I pulled over. He immediately began telling me that I was reving my engine and squeling my tires and that there are pedestrians around here. I told him I am all wheel drive and I wasn't even at the speed limit yet, so there was no way I would have been peeling out. He asked what the noise was then and I told him it was my BOV. His response was yeah right, since he didn't know what the hell I was talking about.
Anyway to make a long story short he was a jerk the hole time and looking at everything on my car to try to find something wrong and ended up letting me go because in his words"I'll let you slide this time since I didn't see you, but I heard tires squeling"
Of course as I pulled away I hit 3500rpms and popped off the BOV and looked in my mirror to see the same look as before as he shook his head.

No doubt, he was treating me like I was some sort of a trouble maker or something. In reality I have a career, house, and a family.

depends on how you look at it. I was merely trying to let him see for himself that he was full of @#$T when he was saying he knew what he heard At least I didn't get a ticket. I am sure this will not be the end.

That is sooo funny, you posted this. My supervisor at work had told me one time that I needed to slow down when I'm driving off base. I was like what are you talking about? And he told me, " I passed by you off base and I could hear you chirping your tires whenever you shifted." I had to explain to him that I had awd and I couldn't do that and that it was my greddy rs bov that made the sound.

I figured Ford or Chevy, because he didn't ask me if my evo had a Hemi in it. I really don't think he had a clue what kind of car it was since the only badge I have is the evolution one.

You know this was the first time I had seen one on a bike other than when there were big events going on like 4th of July and stuff like that. I guess he must of done something wrong to get bumped down to a bike.
I was down by the lake near the capital building taking the scenic route home after work.
