I need some help installing these overlays. The directions say tap into gray wire for cluster to light up when you turn the lights on. thats what i want. but what does tapping mean. I'm pretty sure u don't cut the wire. any tips or info for installing these overlays?

You can go to hardware store and auto parts store to get a few "Quick Splice Scotch Locks " and use it for connecting the red wires and the gray wire from stock cluster.

Nah, we'd much rather someone bring a 2006 thread back from the dead...that was previously revived in 2008!

you can carefully cut the outside part of the wire off, take the wires from the gauge overlays and soder them in, that's what i did, ****s never coming off ha
