He'll probably start with a stock map and work his magic from there? No idea actually but that seems like the most logical route. It can be a pain to figure out what a previous tuner has done and try to fix the problems.

Also, please get in touch with Dsmawdturbo or Torquefreaks for a thorough check-up on your cars so that we will have a smooth running dyno session. I've seen cars waste dyno time, so check for boost leaks, tight clamps, new (correct) plugs, properly working boost controllers, no flat tires, full meth/alky containers, or low fuel (if you want to get a racegas tune).

Glad that you guys have supported john and my quest to get him up here to get some good quality dyno tunes. Where is everyone located Most of us are traveling from whidbey island so seattle would be a great meeting point. I still would like for us all to get together as many of us as possible to make sure the cars are running right. IE. Boost leak check etc. Mark is right new plugs is is a good idea. A good tune up b4 the tune. So lets work on that now. I am free on the weekends to check out your cars if need be. I have 6 alky kits and 2 sets of cams that I will be installing in the next 2 weeks its going to be busy lol If any of you guys need installs let me know i want to make sure everything is smooth for John!. My car only has a little over 700 miles on it so would I still need new plugs? I'll be doing an oil change the night before the tuning session though.

All I need to do is throw on my filter and MBC and I'll be good to go.

BTW, I'm from the Lynnwood/Mill Creek area so Seattle is on the way. What time will you guys be getting to Seattle?

We will definetly have to setup a good tiem for us to all drive down. Doors open at 10 am, so ill im saying its a what 6 hour drive for me? How far is it from seattle haha? You wont need new plugs you have low enough mileage.

Roughly 3 hours from Seattle to Portland unless we hit traffic. If doors open at 10, we should leave Seattle at the very latest 6:00AM to make sure we get there on time. If we get there a little early, we can always go to a local restaurant and get some food in our systems.

We should also take our time going down there and stick to 5mph over the speed limit. Anything over 5 Evos with aftermarket exhausts will be sure to attract attention. Hell even 3 manage to attract attention.

How about we shoot for 5:45AM at Southcenter Mall? Easy access to I-5 and it'll get us far enough from downtown Seattle to avoid any traffic that could build up in the morning hours.

Yea I was surprised by how quickly. I knew once I saw the feeler thread is was going to fill, but not this quickly. Glad I got my slot locked in as soon as I saw this was a sure thing with enough deposits.
