If no one can show up on friday... I can! Money is ready and waiting... That'll leave 10 to tune on Saturday on 2 on Friday? :P

Seriously though... If its possible, I'd jump for this opportunity.

Let me know.

Wow, what a weekend! Does it ever stop raining over there?

I just want to say THANKS to Mark for his hospitality and great facility. For those that need work in the Portland area, you have to check out Torquefreaks. THANKS to Matt for toughing it out. It was a long day...

Also, thanks to everybody that showed up for tuning and those just showed up for moral support. Almost everybody was pretty happy with their tunes. Technical difficulties prevented some cars to reach their potential, but hopefully we helped dissect the problems.

Hopefully you guys will invite me out there again.

Hey John thanks once again for making the long trip to the NW to help get our cars running well. It was a lot of fun and it was sad that a couple of cars just weren't reaching their potential because of the technical difficulties. Some were easy quick fixes and some, wow; you really gave it your all and that's what really impressed me. Many would've given up and yelled "Next!" but you used all your experience to help us in any way possible. Can't wait until the next time you're out there John. Thanks for the great tune and memories. I hope you have a safe trip back home. Hopefully the next time you're out here, all the cars will be running at 100% so you can work your magic.

Invite? It's always an open invitation for you

Many many thanks to Anthony for making this happen. If it wasn't for you pestering and begging John to come out, none of this would've been possible. Also have to give it up to you and Tony for spending all night getting all those installs done. Hope you guys still down there in Portland live it up at special happy ending bar.

It was also a lot of fun and a true pleasure to meet all you guys in person. Mike, Kevin, Andrew, Andrew, Chewy, Tony, Dustin, Lupae (sp?) and Paul, it was truly an honor to meet you guys in person. From the way you guys made me feel welcome from the beginning and making me feel like I was a part of the group and not an outside really made the day better than I imagined. I just hope I'll be able to meet with you guys again in the very near future.

Also to the guys of Horsepower and Torque Freaks. Many thanks for accomodating us and for making sure we felt welcome. Sticking it out with us and giving us moral support when the pulls were getting rough really, for me at least, got me through it and gave me hope. Many thanks for running such a great place for us car nuts.

I felt my car was weak after my tune by "tuner X" but it was not untill my first dyno pull with John that I figured out just how weak it really was. My 06' MR only pulled 231 freakin horsepower on my first baseline pull - THATS LOWER THAN A BONE STOCK 9! I was pissed that I paid 300 bucks for "tuner X" to make my car slower than a stock car. John quickly rectified "tuner X's" fu$%#@ up tune and brought my car up to a respectable 279hp/287ftlb. John then turned on the meth injection and got 346hp/341ftlbs. I was extremly happy with John's tune and amazed that he got about 30 more hp right off the bat over "tuner X'. I'm not going to mention who "tuner X' is but he will NEVER get my hard earned cash ever again. I can't believe that my 9 was only running 231hp with an AMS intercooler, Injen intake, WORKS downpipe, Helix high flow cat, and Espiler catback. IMHO going from 231 to 279 is a huge jump and it only took John a few seconds on his laptop to get it.
In conclusion, John is a TRUE professional that really cares about giving his customers the absolute best tune he can and I thank him for that. I also would like to thank TorqueFreaks for opening their doors and dyno to us. They truely made us feel at home and I have the utmost respect for them for alowing us to use their shop and facilities for the day - thanks guys. Even though myself, Anthony, and all the rest of the Oak Habor gang did'nt get an ounce of sleep that night trying to get our cars ready for John - I had a blast Saturday as I was zombified half falling asleep while standing up and would do it again in a heartbeat. Good times.

I put out more on my baseline than you did! You kicked my butt once John got to work though...

Honestly I think that dyno shows really low. With my cat-back, intake, and MBC at 21.8 psi, it only put out 233whp and 247ft/lbs. Kinda weird how most people at bone stock put out more power than that. I was very happy with my tune though as John is one fun guy to be tuning your car. He was always kept a good attitude even during the tough times when he was trying to help us fix our cars.

Chewy is a man ****. A good one though so I gotta give respect.

Lol sorry about disappearing on you guys if you noticed. I had to stop for gas. I drove for 20 miles with my light on and figured I better get gas the next chance I get. I put in 12.98 gallons.
