Well I blew my headgasket today. I was driving did a 3rd gear pull heard the turbo spool up alot faster than normal before I knew it KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK (from the engine) pulled off throttle immediately coolant leaking by the driver side on the headgasket. Pisses me off. The boost spike came from NO WHERE. Its so unexplainable. The car dosnt over boost now so I dont get it. I have to either A take the damn car to have it done under warranty (so that if i pull the head and there are other problems I dont have to foot the bill, or take the risk and pull the head and see that other **** got effed up during the detonation. I want to get my damn car tuned so I am at a loss. I still have to install 3 damn alky kits and a set of 280s before the tune day, and Im still working on my friends valve springs right now due to the fact that we had to afro engineer a damn spring compressor, but hey after the fab was done it works well. So I am still trying to figure out what the hell im going to do, sorry for the run ons its been a long day and night and im pissed.

Anthony noooooo! Please don't tell me your car will be out of comission for the tuning trip. You made the damn thing possible and it'll be a shame if you can't make it. That'll put me in a somber mood the entire time. Get your car ready in any way possible please!

Yeah you should stop by, I dont have anything done to my car worth the tuning. I am just going down for the drive, cause i have nothing to do that day.

I dont know exactly what Im going to do yet. I dont want to pull the head and find other issues and then have to foot the bill. Dont know where the boost spike came from. dosnt do it now :-\ Cannot duplicate gripe 11 a 799

Hush up and come down! Hopefully everything stays together and that boost spike just appeared to spend time with you that day. The gremlins miss you too.

 

I am going to be riding with someone down to the event, its all good that my car isnt getting tuned, another time. Im glad that this happened now before i modified the car So now mitsu has no choice but to fix the problem, something in the stock system caused a boost spike which in turn either stretched a headbolt or blew the HG. Good thing the car is still 100% stock Mitsu is taking a look at it on monday.

Glad that it's 100% stock so Mitsu can't try to void your warranty based on your cd player. So that means a spot opens up for a lucky member to get their car tuned?

 

I dont see why not. Tyrone comes out from time to time you never know when hes going to be around man. lol. Im pissed I really wanted to get my damn tune.

Seriously that sucks. That's one Evo down for the cruise and tune. It would've been nice for everyone to come back with smiling faces and 300+ whp. Are you going to be sticking around after the tune session for some tax free food?

I might just get a hotel room and stay over for the night. $39 for a room isn't too bad.

Im going to stick around and go out for dinner with john and such, then i would like to get home I have some work to do on sunday heh car goes into mitsu on monday

You guys could set up another tune session with John in December. I'm sure I could use another tune at that time.
