i just got a new act clutch and got it installed. it makes a squealing noise when i start from a dead stop. the guy that installed it said it would make that sound until it got worn in. has anyone else dealt with this or know anyone who has? i want to make sure this guy didnt mess up the install and is trying to get over on me. any input would help.

just to let you know I just got a act 2600 clutch installed and mind does not make any noise. 378 miles on it so far.

 

I have this kit and flywheel, never had this happen when it was installed, i think hes wrong, who installed it?

 

Just got the ACT kit installed on mine, Done myself, and Ii did not hear any squeeling noise at all, a sight vibration the first few engaments, but no noise... i think the guy is trying to pull one on you.

 

i had it installed at a mitsubishi dealership in germany. i moved to germany from ft lewis a few months ago, and no one knows any good places to install anything here. thanks for the help, ill try to see what they will do for me.
