driving performance school, february

The Alfa Romeo club is having their annual performance school. in February

This is really for beginners, and if you intend to drive at Pacific Raceways with the Alfa club they will want to have seen you at the Bremerton track first.
Great way to find some edges of the handling of your evo without doing damage.
Learn some fundamentals and have fun.

this is a blurb from their web site.
Objective
This school will focus on basic car handling techniques and the physics involved in your vehicles reactions. You will learn how to judge and execute the correct line through any corner and how to slow down to drive faster, plus much more.

Details.
The morning will be spent on exercises that focus on specific aspects of driving and the afternoon will be spent using your newly learned skills on the track.

Instructors will be available to ride with you and coach you at each station.
Please make sure that your car is in proper condition. Remember although it will be inspected, you are still responsible for your car being safe.
Please do some homework before the event. Review these pages before coming to class.

I think the first track day in Bremerton is in March, about a month ahead of that you register.
If you are "new" they would rather you went to the performance day first.

Very worthwhile investment for anyone that owns an Evo but has never tracked it before.

try emailing Kathleen again, put alfa in the subject line. spell it right its NOT alpha, kind of sore spot with alfa nuts.

If the calendar has been updated, it shows the novice performance school Feb 10.

I hope Kathleen is still the track registrar, the club switches duties around from time to time as people burn out.

other than that I don't know why you are not getting through, they are a great group of people so keep trying.
