EVO Dealers
EVO Dealers
Hey guys,
I am looking for a straight-forward dealership that will honor the Employee sponsorship program for a silver or grey IX SE (non-MR). My local dealer backed out of the deal so I am looking for a new location in the NW that will honor the sponsorship. Washington and/ Oregon are preferred, BUT I really do not want to go to Beaverton Mitsubishi. They suck, period. I know this may not be the best forum for this but I know some people in here work at dealerships or are friends with salesman and etc...
I appreciate any help you guys can give me!
Thanks,
-Bobby
EDIT: My location says Portland, but I am in Eugene for school.

Forget Portland dealers, they just are THE worst dealers (Mitsu)
I drove to renton mitsu and they stuck everything they said to me. 200 below invoice and was very very cool guys. They really value your business, and I was very happy with the entire transaction.
Mountain was ok, but they never called me back after a week while renton kept in touch with me, so that'show they won my business.
for renton, worth the 2 hour drive.
a BIG
for all portland metro Mitsu dealers, just very very dishonest, unethical bunch of douches
(service is ok)
Oh I'm not quite certain about the program, but when I was there they offered a very special program tomy friend who was interested...
A lady who was basically a "general/NW manager" (she's important) happened to be there just that date and she offered a "familiy relative"discount and even got her card and number to honor that deal making sure that she wasn't just talking. Talk about a good deal. My friend still has that card!
Knowing these I'mpretty sure they honor a valid program
Good luck!

Didn't like Renton, said they would honor south coast mitsu. prices but when I got there they fed me this BS line on how the cars in california are different (emissions) and could sell them cheaper. what pissed me off the most is I confirmed THREE times over the phone price and drove 1.5 hrs to be lied to.
Moutain is slow to call back but told me they will sell for invoice
Got my GG IX SE at bruce titus at invoice 31,xxx -500 (recent grad discount)

Spinedoc, Who was your salesman at Bruce Titus? Thanks.
Renton has some SE's in stock with low mileage... Anyone know a non-BS salesman there?
Anyone else's input is welcome...
Thanks for the help!
EDIT: Do I have to have it shipped from Washington to avoid the sales tax?

I got my GG IX SE at renton mitsu too, got it for 32k with 11 miles on it. pretty good? wasnt to hard to come up with that price, went there like 4 times tho to check out what i really wanted. friendly ppl. Joe helped me out, pretty professional..just didnt know much about the car, but i didnt expect him to know alot.
I bought my first GSR at Dick Hannah, and it was an awesome experience. Its too bad they can't sell them anymore.
After the insurance settled from that one getting stolen, I started to search around. Beaverton wouldn't budge on price, and while I was there, Baby Evo 8 (my buddy who has an evo, and bought an 06 Eclipse GT V6 from Renton) called Sean up there, and they told me 500 above invoice. Beaverton tried to tell me they would raise it once I got up there, and they countered with offering to fax a signed worksheet to Beaverton for me. That sealed the deal.
Ran home really fast, and filled out the app online and headed up there. Got there at like 10 at night, the car I wanted was out front, washed and ready to go, and all the papers were there for me to sign. Took about 20 minutes total, and they kept their end of the deal.
If you're worried about them keeping their deal, have them fax you a signed sheet, with the vin of the car and the prices and stuff. That usually solves all issues.

salesman was Rick (don't know his last name) Ask for big rick, they'll know who you're talking about
Never EVER go to the Mitsu dealer in Olympia. I was down there a couple weeks ago and almost bough a 9 and I got this retard salesman. Wouldnt let me drive it, even though I had 15k down payment. Told me you cant redline these cars or its voids the warranty
Told me your not suppose to modify them, it can make them break. He got mad at me because I popped the hood. Told me my insurance would be too much. He basically didnt want me to buy the car and was a complete *sshole. They treat you like your 15, and that the Evo is a ferrari, they dont even want you sitting in it
Also I agree with the above, I went to the Renton dealer and they were polite and let me test drive a used 8 no questions asked. You might have to negotiate a price a little bit, some of their prices are somewhat high. Good luck
