You can buy one or make your own yes. Talk to JohnB here if you go the "buy" route though...he is local.

You can make two maps yes but until jcsbanks and Bez get that live stuff finished you won't be able to switch on the fly...you'll have to reflash to "switch" between maps.

Not sure that I follow but there are:

3 high octane IGNITION maps
3 low octane ignition maps
1 high, 1 low octane fuel maps
2 MIVEC maps and only one is currently utilised.

If you have never done this before I highly recommend you just buy a base flash map for you car. It doesnt really matter who you buy it from, but I can guarantee you some people provide better maps then others. With a base flash map you wont have to worry about adjusting your timing, but will most likely need to flatten out a few spots in your fuel map. This is where the wide band comes in. Adjusting fuel is really easy, but it gives you a sense of how things work and it will allow you to become familiar with the software. The biggest thing is to move slow!! You dont want to make any BIG changes!!

The other benefit to buying a base flash is that you can look at what the differences are in the two maps. This will also tell you alot, and give you insight into what, and how, the different tuning strategies work. I will let you know that in my experience, JEstr has provided the best maps I have ever seen, but, like any other base flash, you will have a few rich spots that you will want to lean out in your fuel map. I cant speak for Lucas or John though because I have never used their services, although plenty of other people have and I have not seen any complaints.
