That guy I'm not sure who it is.. I look on this site for EVO X information and that caught my eye since i check the NW sections as well..
As for the finance things...ah..If you only knew
the truth.
Some certain people are owed excess of $10,000 usd..but since we didn't get an official legal document stating our exact terms ,
we just got super ****ed by someone we had come to trust with..well..everything actually. ( I took a $2000 /month pay cut to come help Kyle out, so
don't question me about dedication or motive, the online incentive was supposed to make up for my base pay)
but hey... it's just money right.. anyways it's no problem to me, I've moved on..but it doesn't mean i can't take shots when I want to.
You can ask Jun too why he doesn't work there anymore.. it's not the worker thing..def a Kyle thing. Customers don't see it.

and I'm not going to sit here and tell the crowd that I know everything that happened...

the exact details are beyond me - I've never worked there, and I cant say that I ever will - I dont pry into the past because most of it doesnt concern me anyways.

What does concern me is that if there is legitamacy of the complaints that people register on here, no matter what shop it is, or who works there, you gotta resolve things, and in a professional manner.

If its a Kyle thing with Axiom, then talk it out. Its a simple act of judgement. I've had plenty to do with recent resolutions with disgruntled customers at Axiom, most of which walked away happy or at least neutral afterwards.

A large barrier at Axiom is the ability to maintain constant updates for the customers. Shipping and handling has always been an issue, as well as providing constant tracking status for customers purchasing parts from Axiom.

You know how it goes Jon - The part gets ordered, and the time goes by... week, after week, after week... by the time the part comes in, the customer is pissed off because he had to wait for so long... or the wrong pieces are with the kit, or the wrong part was put into the right box, or the wrong harness came with the engine kit... The list is endless...

but somehow, there are other shops that consistantly provide constant installs, deliveries, and updates on their customer's cars being worked on...

These issues were things that I saw you and other staff members try to change for the better, but after we left to Iraq, everything went to heck (not that we had anything to do with making things work or not) - Jun announced that he was quitting, You and other staff member left Axiom, and there was a severe shortage of staff for a huge amount of work at the Shop...

Now we're here, in the now. I dont know the whole truth, but I'd love to hear it via PM sometime - There is always drama, but getting to the bottom of things as quickly as possible diffuses the situation to a dull murmur - leaving both parties at least neutral in the mix.

Civil you mean?

... i'm pretty sure this is a civil conversation - I'm not angry or anything, Jun saw the pictures already, and he just laughed about it.

Anyways, its better to get everything out in the open right? that way everyone knows whats going on.

Its not necessarily what happens all the time, but drama does happen...

......Its called a difference of opinion, and the middle has to be found at one point or another. I'm not a preacher, or a wise man, or anything like the bunch, just another Tuner looking to do my best to keep everyone happy.

Axiom has its issues, yes. But wouldnt you say that Kyle has done something right by staying open in the NW for the last 6 years?

... as for 'OTHER' Shops in the NW, they open, completely trash customer rides and customer support, and then flutter out in a flurry of bankruptcy... taking out all the cred they have built through the projects that DID turn out to be successful...

^ right........there is nothing wrong about a high school kid having a civic trying to step into the car enthusiast scene. Sounds like you have a grude on people that just drive a civic to there high school.

hah no man. but i do have a grudge against kids that come up next to me and downshift on bridgeport, when there are plenty of other cars around. kids that get exhaust and pointless mods to get attention in the wrong way...i might have a grudge on them.

i knew of plenty of civics when i went to high school that were clean as hell, i still know of lots of civics that are clean. i just don't like the typical civic that is rolling around with an exhaust it doesn't need, yellow headlight bulbs, halos and unpainted body kits. you should know, you live in tacoma.

so now you've gone and dropped the stereo type within high school kids creating ricers...

but that quickly turned into being angry at the people who want to race you because you drive a car that would present a challenge to them.

So when was the last time you explained to these kids as to WHY getting useless mods was a bad idea - Could you sit there and tell those kids that putting on an exhaust is detrimental to their car because it increases emissions, reduces back pressure, and could potentially foul out their O2 sensor?

... I guess that might be a waste of time for you, but regardless, thats what Kyle did with me - he discussed modifications way before I decided to get them. Never settle for cheap quality, and look around for good deals that might save you a dollar or two.

Thrift, Quality, and Education - know why you are modding your car and how to do it yourself, know that what you are putting on your car is the highest quality part you can find for that certain appplication, and make sure you find that part for the lowest price possible.

Don't limit you statement to just civics. There are plenty of cars that fit your opinion that aren't civics. It happens to you, me and to every make and model. It's just the nature of the beast.

And before we start throwing the "rice" word around.

What makes a ricer, a ricer. Either your a ricer or not?? Can you be a half ricer?? And if you were a ricer and you become an ex-ricer if you don't fit the requirements?

...and passing judgment because you dont like someone in a inappropriately posted thread isnt the way to start out your reputation on a forum...

If you have a ligit claim or complaint against a shop, it goes in the corresponding 'reviews' thread located elsewhere on Evolutionm - If you are just basically making stabs at individuals on a thread, you should take that to them and deal with it in person.

Now if you had an entire story as to why you dont LIKE Kyle, then it would be interesting to hear the story - shed some light, or leave the mystery be, thats your decision

Now, if things were explained, we would need to hear BOTH sides of the equation, not just your's. Being biased in opinion and jumping on the bandwagon really doesnt get anything accomplished... It just confuses people and damages business for those who pay their mortgage with the business in the Import Scene.

BTW: An excellent definition of Ricer can be located HERE from wikipedia.org -

Honestly, if a kid walks into ANY tuner shop and wants his car to look a certain way, then his mind is already made up - if he's working with a smaller budget, then he's going to purchase cheaper parts... whether he knows what they do for his car or not, thats ultimately up to him to research the results...

If I was to run a business, and a kid comes up to the counter and says 'I want to buy that muffler, this body kit, and order a ground effects kit,' am I going to turn him away and ruin my opportunity to make money.

In a perfect performance world, everyone would modify their cars with an educated taste and balance between the OEM specifications, and the optimal performance to keep their car within the realm of common sense...

Unfortunately (sarcastic), we dont live in a Socialist country, and people have the ability to excersize their freedom of expression... what a shame eh? HAHA...

If they want to have lambo doors, insane stereo systems, off the wall body kits, crazy color schemes, spoilers that serve no purpose, APC seat covers, etc... then let them be - You know, and I know they dont stand a chance on the line against a stock EVO, STi, 350Z, ETC...

getting these folks 'in the know' is the hardest battle yet... not everyone wants to admit that the 6000 bucks they just invested into their Dodge Neon R/T was wasted and their car just looks like a riced out neon... You might have to break it to them easy.
