Don't be scared chris. I was nervous as sh*t my first time at the track, but don't get to thinking about beating the car next to you. Worry about your 60ft times and obviously et and mph. Doesn't matter what your rt is if you're just racing to see your own improvements.

I got a question, for JB or Lucas. I went to the dyno day and had some weird isssues with boost. I hadn't changed anything since last dyno day. So my ebc was set to 23.5 just like last time, yet i was having a wierd stuttering like the car hit boost then dropped and picked power back up. I'll let my graphs speak for themselves.

Here's my 2 graphs from the first dyno day.

And here's the ones from last sunday. I have no idea why boost was registering higher than last time, temps were about the same but it looks like boost didn't pick up until later rpms.

Was it boost cut, or when it did this stumble was it that it felt more like it was missing. Looking at the graphs I can see some dips that shouldnt be there so I suspect that was the "problem", but I need just a little more info to help out.

I could feel it on the road as well, I would step on it and it would hit boost then drop and pick back up again. Happened around 4k rpms.

I see the dip you mean now...I would have to datalog it cause thats weird it drops like a ton of power. I would suspect boost cut myself.

Hmm, do you think boost creep may be to blame? I don't know why it spiked so high, my ebc was set to 23.5. When i had a boost limiter set on my ebc to 24, it would stutter pretty bad, so i raised the limit so it could reach full boost, but it still spiked higher than i wanted and like it shows dropped.

That very well could be the culprit

I expected to just be able to set my boost to what I wanted to and call it a day, but it would overboost, so that's why I had to set a limit. Maybe it's my o2 housing causing it just keep climbing until boost cut?

when you get back, we'll need to spend a couple hours going through the mechanical and then doublecheck the boost cut in the map and retune as needed.
