Whats up Evo/dsm/4G63 lovin people -

I'll spare you people the full intro, most of you already know me... I'm Kory and
along with many other people from Fort Lewis and neighboring bases, been in Iraq for the last 15 months.
Its been a long tour and its coming to an end... thank God!

- James Mercado just returned home, and he has endured 15 months of Iraq - nuf said...
make sure you send him some LOVE people!

So - In the love and passion for the Import Scene that we all share,
Myself and the rest of the Subaru/Supra folks would like to invite the various Mitsu owners
to a military tribute meet in Kent with a BBQ and quite possibly a lil' drive afterwards...

We'll be meeting during October... The meet will take place on the weekend (sat,sun)
as soon as we have as many people as possible who returned from Iraq,
or are Actively stationed in the NW, or serve the national guard, reserve,
or whatever other type of branch you may be in.

If you know of any Military Evo/DSM/ETC. owners in the Northwest or anywhere around here,
feel free to forward them to this post, or to the email provided below!

We support Veterans as well, hearing from prior service members is always cool.

- If you support our Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, Marines, or just want to hang out
with some local enthusiests, or are preparing for their own deployment...
clear your calender for the second or third weekend of October!

(Event is currently Schduled for Saturday the 13th of October)

We ask that the people attending the meet, conduct themselves in an 'intelligent' manner.
Having to shut down because of asshat behavior is lame.
We've posted this request on all the forums so it isnt based
on any type of car or person.

As of right now, the meet will Be located at Kent with a more exact location by the 18th of this month (sept)
- We are locating a shop with plenty of parking room, space for a BBQ setup, as well as shelter in case it rains...
...the tunes will be pumping inside the shop with the bay doors open...

I'll be posting up more exact details as the event develops. Just wanted to give you guys/girls a heads up!

bump - We'll be discussing the possibility of asking World One if we could have the meet there if we have over 30 people attending.

This is a multi-forum meet - MKI through IV supras, newer and older school Rx-7's, Nissans (240,180's, GTR), Evo's, Lancers, STi, WRX's, etc etc...

We're hoping for a good turnout. I'll be sure to have some DVD's of the West Coast Import Tour there to hand out to the first 20 people that show up! woot!

aw man you already know WOP will let us meet there, Garret is all about car meets.

 

well I will definately have to hit up Garret when we get back - if you get the chance, give him a heads up about the meet!

yeah i talk to Garret pretty regularly so i wil be sure to mention it to him and i'll post his response.
