Question tlnw neons

okay, got something that needs figuring out. appearently there was some talk at IL3 about all of us getting the same colored neons for our lancers. welp, what color does everyone want? it would be nice to get a color that is allowed to be displayed while driving, and i think only green, purple, and white fall in that category. purple has got my vote.

Yeah, it'd look dope having a whole fleet of cars riding around w/ the same color. We can rob 18 wheelers and everything!

Seriously though, I think it'll look nice if we make it a club theme, of sorts, although there's still a part of me that wants to scream rice... Regardless, purple has my vote also.

well I have black lights in my two front seats, and that is about as far as I'll go. ....

EDIT: My vote went to [Other] being that I don't want them at all.

I do not believe that I have seen a white neon, what exactly would that look like? Just a white neon light???? Maybe it would have to be interspersed with flecks of other corlors like the white lancer paint is.

well, i gotta say blue, cuz my cars color scheme doesn't work with green, purple, or white! And up here in WA i'm pretty sure all neon is illegal Anyways, I just gotta say universal neon would be probably RICE!!!. Just MO. Later all!

(Somewhat reluctantly) Purple. Or Blue. Or not at all.

Can't we all get something like driving lights with the same Nokya ArcticBlue or ArcticPurple H3's or something? Or LED antennas? just not feelin the little neon tubes that are bound to break.

I contacted a couple people selling neons on ebay about group shipping and such, since a lot of ebay people wanna charge like $35 for the shipping of a neon set. I got a guy who will ship upto 6 together. 6 together would be $80. So that liks $13 shipping. And he sells the tube sets for $60-$65. So lemme know if anyone is serious about getting some, and I'll talk to him more. If ya'll are not very serious, then I'll just get mine.

Oh, and this guy in particular only has: purple, blue, green, and red colors.

Let me know.

What about getting a fiberoptic neon kit rather than a "tube" neon kit that uses glass? I dont wanna spend even 2 dollars to have something break .. let alone something thats gonna be a hundred ...

I don't know about fibreoptic... but they do have LED tubes that produce the same effect, actually brighter I've read, and more durable. I also contacted someone regarding group order on that, I'm waiting on a response from him. Those typically go for $95 - $140+ a kit.

I'll post when I know more.

Ok all you SuperStreet readers... or perhaps I should address this to the OTHER SuperStreet reader, whoever you are. Turn to page 49 of this month's issue. You'll find a site that links you to:
http://www.stylincompacts.com/parts....CategoryID/211

The sets are two 36" tubes and two 48" tubes of LED lights in polycarbonate housing. Here's the catch- they're $180. That's almost my FPR, and almost halfway to the emanage setup that I'm looking at.
Can we do better?!
