Evo X at Drift Office.

Hello there fellow Evo owner's. It's official and that I'll be bringing down a Evo X on Sunday for the all day Dyno session. I'll be down around noon with it. The vehicle will be on display for everyone to look at. I'm sorry but there will be no test drives on it. I don't know what color or packing that they are going to let me bring down. There will be no salesperson down there with me either. I'm the lead Mitsu Tech at Auburn Valley Mitsu. I'll find out tomorrow on the final details with Anthony the Mistu Sales Manager, but I might put it on the Dyno for a pull. Like I said I'll hammer the final details out tomorrow. If you have any questions please call me on my cell. #206-498-8139

So is this gonna void the warranty since its not even broke in or is this gonna be the demo car/test drive car. I could just see some Mitsu dealerships turning around and selling the car then telling the owners not to romp on it for 5000 miles or it will void the warranty

Like I said it's likely that it'll be put on the dyno. I'm fully aware the standard break-in mileage for these cars. The motors have already been run for at least a hundred or more hours before they go into the vehicles. I understand you concern in regards to the fact that this brand new vehicle will be dynoed and then turn around to be sold to the public. It is no different then having a new or ignorant sales person test drive these cars and abuse them. Then sell it to someone that doesn't know what or how this vehicle is driven before they bought it. Or someone that has never driven a Evo and just wants to joyride one. Then they are grinding gears, red-lining and try to Two-Step the clutch and they slip the clutch and it's downhill from there on that clutch.

Read the post from Buschur about engine break in. I'd buy a car being broken in on the dyno rather than one some punk PDI tech or newb salesman that beat it around the block.

Just took the EVO X new model class today. I can't wait for the east coast shipment to arrive.
