Went to pir on friday and broke the 122mph mark twice. first two runs. ets were nasty but one record aint to bad. The rest of night my 60's went down and so did my times and mph. did a bunch of 120.8+ runs and the best et was 11.73. Im trying hard to work on my short time to get the et around 11.5. Hopfully this weekend will be my day to shine

One year, we tried to "share" with the Drags but when you run 80 Rally Cars on knobby rally tires, after they've been running through dirt and gravel, with 2 passengers, tools and spares down the drag strip....

The drag racers behind us REALLY didn't like what we left behind.

So.... to keep the peace, we get the track to ourselves for the night.

I "might" have my Rally Car down there but as I'm crewing for another driver this time around, it would really be bad form for me to have my EVO at the event.... especially since it's not done yet.

In any case, if you are around, stop by and say "hi". I'm pitting for #220 which is a Dodge Colt with a 2.0L DSM motor stuffed in there!!!

As a side note, we just finished building that car so this race will actually be the first time it's been driven really. No time for a shake down! YIKES!

We also built a 4WD version of the Dodge Colt with a 1990 Turbo Talon TSi drivetrain under it. Stupid fast, light weight 4WD turbo tiny 3 door. Sounds like fun, eh?
