A dealership or any automotive shop cost $45 just to scan the CEL.

I have always done this for free. Only takes a second to do. It's a service I provide to help my customers, or future customers...

One of the more resonable ones is the Innova. You can get the OBD1 and 2 scanner with CAN support model 3120 for 160ish. or the 3140 for 210ish. If you didn't need OBD1. I would get the OBD2 only model 3130 because it has "live data" you can record and playback senor values. and it's only like $155.

If you have a tactrix cable I have no idea why you would buy one unless you needed it for other cars.

yup use Matrix tuning to read OBD II from Tactrix cable..

plus i ordered Snap On module, it on way.. but i have 200$ ODBII and I code scanner.. cuz i use for on 240sx (OBDI)and some toyota Supra..

OBDII is 1996 to newer.. OBD I is under 1995 to 1985 i think..
