How many of you guys and gals live in the Renton area? I was offered a job up there and need to find a good spot to live. I heard Renton has a lot of break ins? Any ideas?

alot... Well renton is better now.. and no crimes.. also Kent/renton they have high polices strict laws.. and they gettin better.. my good friends 5 or 6 they live in Renton by Bonson way and they say it fine so far.. nothing trouble.. and i go there and see my girl live in renton too.. no on break in my evo.. or mess with it..

when are you planning on moving to renton? our property management company is building a brand new mid rise secured apartment complex next to boeing field. renton seems to be up and coming. if it's good enough for the seahawks than it should be good enough for most people

 

I'm in the Renton area. There are plenty of good, safe areas to live, and a few places that aren't. Pretty obvious by looking around. In all, I really like the Renton area. Proximity to Pacific Raceways is a plus!

 

I'm in the renton area. Over by the lake washington seattle borderline. So far its been good. We have a neighborhood watch where im at. Park my evo outside sometimes. Everything's fine here.

Thanks Guys I just got a job offer and Just wanted to know were the local evo Guys and gals were I had a buddy that lived there about 4 years ago and it seemed ok. The only thing I care about is if the Evo has a good place to sleep

Renton's not different than any town around here. There's shady areas and high end areas, it all depends.

 

i live in west seattle. each area has good and bad places. are you looking for a house, condo or an apartment?

 

Ive lived here in renton for about 13 years...lol, New homes are being built its a great place to live now. I want to say car thefts have went down alot from 3-6 years ago. Mostly beater cars. The best area would be in the Highlands. Down town renton is alittle iffy still to me.
