future owner intro with a question
Oh damn they must have just sold it then, it was there last week. Evo 9s in stock or lightly mod, low mileage conditions don't last - period! They fly off the radars fast. I was lucky enough to get my MR right here from a local member - he wasn't even looking to sell it though and he regreted it after seeing me post it over at NASIOC (he has a WRX now).
I can definitely give you a ride at the next Z meet or something. I can't let you drive it because I have a strict no-one-drives-my-car policy due to some issues previously. The setting I have the KWs at right now are stiffer than most people would like so I am warning you ahead of time
I'm gonna soften it up for winter here pretty soon but I have been lazy since I'd have to get under the car to or remove the wheels to adjust them (rebound & compression adjustable on the v3)

Hey bro,
Yes the clutch travel is WAY more than a 350z...I know because I drove Bryce (Eight08flip) Z because and that really surprised me. I think you're making the right decision though. If you search "EVO" on my350z there are a lot of good info by bboyrico (spelling is wayyy off but his SN starts with BB something or other) and he is very knowledgeable. The Z is a sweet looking car but in terms of performance, handling, and modding, the Evo will surpass the Z in many ways.
I would suggest getting an Evo 9, there is a SWEEET evo 9 SE (somewhat rare) for sale at Infiniti of Kirkland with only 18k miles I believe. You'll also find moving from a Z to an Evo that it's quite different. Evo owners are hated on more, but also loved more by enthusiasts. I have gotten thumbsups from Ferrari drivers before - basically anyones who KNOWS cars that's not an ignorant fanboy and truely appreciate a vehicle will love an Evo. Those that hates it are ignorant of its capability or simply afraid that they will get their *** owned by one.
The Evo driver are different as well, simply because we can don't care what other people think. We know we have an awesome car and don't need other people to reiterate that.

Yeah, it's pretty funny.. at the track I'm pretty modest talking about my car when you're talking with someone running a $100k+ car, but they all know Evo's whether it's a Ferrari or a GT3 driver. My last track day, there was a GT3 with an 'inexperienced' driver (for lack of better terms) that would just simply pull off the race line when he saw me behind him... talking with him afterward, he's sayng "I didn't want to hold you up." It totally blew my mind how he's yielding to a $35k car in a $175k car on the track... People that know, know... those that don't hate...
well the deal fell through with that one, they wanted 10k on top of my z. I'm gonna go back there with Chris tomorrow, he says he knows some people there so he may be able to get me a better deal
Hey bro, i know we been texting.., i been rescreach by NADA.com and see how much trade in worth.. man im suprise they are rape ur a$$ ill print and bring paper.. it worth 23k for trade in!
^well not quite 23k, its not a grand touring, i think 20-21k (that works out to 22-23k with tax credit) is a fair trade in value for my car, not 17400 like they were offering. they said "maybe 18"
if i sold my car for 24k private party, that'd be good enough for me. its listed on autotrader right now for 25k. i'd just buy an evo from a part of the country where it's cheaper and drive it back. in arizona for example, they're about 3-5k cheaper
