Hit Chinatown in Seattle.. We've been to a few random restaurants up there, some where they don't even speak English, but the food is soooo ridiculously good it's worth the drive. I wish I could give you some names, but I don't speak Chinese so I can't read the names lol.

Also Chris pretty much summed it up lol.
Panda Express is ok food
new sushi place in federal way, Ocean sushi, it is just west of the commons off of 324th and pack hwy. same price as blue island, better quallity. they also have a menu. akasaka, is one of the best for sushi and korean bbq. hanabi is another. enjoy.
Sushi land is good. For Pho I alway eat at Pho Hoa in Renton. And chinese food hit chinatown. I normally go to Honey Court & Purple Dot for some late night (Both open until 3-4 am weekends). For some chinese dim sum go to Jade Garden in chinatown, they have the best dim sum around.

Shanghai cafe in factoria.
My wife is from Taiwan and she is very picky eater. And she loves this little place right by the factoria mall. That says it all. I find their food very unique unlike typical chinese restaurant.
In fact we live in portland but when we do go up for any reason we ALWAYS will stop there to eat.
There's few in china town that is good, can't remember the name.(And I don't bother asking my wife the name)
Having Taiwanese in laws comes in handy here
I think I had so many good real chinese where her and her in laws take me, and being to taiwan myself I realize how different the cuisines are just by TAIWANESE and CHINESE.
ps. Shanghai cafe is leaning to taiwan taste with shanghai influence.(Owner is Taiwanese trained in shanghai I believe)
