Thanks again for the help Bob. Got the springs/shocks on today. So far it rides really nice and I'm enjoying the drop, hopefully it'll be a little lower once it settles

AHAHAHA I used to do that too. It was nice that most aftermarket springs for VW's don't need compressors.

A safer way is to take the top nut off while the suspension is on the car. Jack the car up, and whalah! it's apart.

No problem man. Is it lower then it was when you came in?

haha no! It's higher by 1" in the front but I think it will settle down another 1/4" (or so I hope). Once the new lip goes onto the car the front will be just as close to the ground as before, but I'll just have to live with the larger tires to fenders gap. The rears looks just fine. Oh and I sent you a PM about the alignment.

Active GT bro, the red ones. It's got 1.7" drop in front and .9" in the rear. Should be pretty nice once they settle. Rob says they're really good especially when used with the MR Bilsteins.
