Anthony, you should show at PDX.. PM me for info..
I do agree that there's a "bragging vibe" he brought, but oh well.
No matter what, it is a nice car...definitely a good looking vehicle for sure.
It wasn't "head to head" but I've seen few elises, both normal and exige at lapping days at PIR when me and my friends were there. Funny most of the drivers are way too shy with them.
I'm new to this board, long time user of clubRSX. im planning to import an EVOIX.
How much do you guys pay for insurance/year?
hmmmm, cheap (relatively) track car from the factory...yes
practical in any way...no
Fun...yes
Celica GTS powered...in the states and Rover in the UK
Exotic? Only if you consider a Vauxhall VX220(GM Europe's Opel Speedster) exotic:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Elise#Series_2
Handbuilt? Only the skin, everything underneath is now production line
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Elise#References
Despite what some pretentious owner decided based on a dictionary definition the car though trackworthy is far from exotic since alot of it is off the shelf. That would be tantamount to me claiming that my grandfather's S356 is an exotic because it was made overseas with "race bred" heritage from LeMans...in reality its still a VW with a Porsche name.

It all depends. I'm 19. I got quoted for over $500+ a month at most places. But, I found a killer deal I couldn't say no to and bought the evo.
im 23.. i pay 380$ a month for full cover insurance...
I need rear sway bar, Harness, Racing seat.. and then i, all good to go.. Im going take race school in feb.. hooray! anyone wanna join me..
ALSO im thinkin why not groups of us Rent Track for a day so we can Lapping racing or have fun at track all day

Renting the track is ALOT of damn money. Especially since the last time I went to PR there were only 4 of us evos
Now the subies on the other hand have it figured out...I swear they always roll in like 30+ deep along with the SRT guys.

Im think doing.. like each a car or driver of events people pay 250$ a all day.. something.. need like 10 to 20 cars or more.. make a good amount cheaper if there more people come show up.. but it worth to try.. PLUS good things.. my buddy good friend of Owner of Pacific raceways.. he might try give me hook up deals for us.

and love it its been about 3 months and i already got mods
