You will need more than 20 cars to make it relatively affordable for most. It cost almost $250 a day for some of the bmw or alfa lapping days and thats with 70-80+ cars. I have never looked into but with liability and all the other things its extremely expensive for private people to do it besides Porsche and Corvette guys. You should call up your buddy and find out though. I would be up for it.

Geez thats expensive.

thats like 4500-5000$ annual on insurance

i'm 23 with 5 years experience... i guess i should call in for a quote. i have no idea how Vancouver does it since EVO is not even standard car up here. I hear they have to appraise the value then base the coverage on that. Anyone from Vancouver ?

True, but they are allowed now. There is more and more starting to float that way each month.

I've yet to be passed by a Lotus on the track, and it's not from lack of dudes in Elises trying. I was out on street tires once and a guy with an Elises had to switch to his race tires and still couldn't run a faster lap.

Yea I have only had one exige be able to keep up. He was on aftermarket suspension and fresh A048's and I was on stock size RE01R's. He kept up for about one lap from braking and than after that it was game over. AutoX most of them run no faster than most s2k's.
