Starting to think I've been scammed!!!!

I committed to purchase and PAID for a stock exhaust manifold from EvoM.net user aarons05evo1 from the following thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...-05-parts.html. I paid for the item back on Dec. 13th...there is a post from this user on the 13th stating one exhaust manifold sold.

I've sent PM's, no replies. I've sent e-mails, no reply. They have not been on here since Dec. 26th. In the comments section of their public profile, at least one other user is looking for the item(s) they purchased as well.

If anybody knows this user, you might want to inform them to get on the stick before I start the VERY PUBLIC process of dragging their name through the mud!!!! I'm not here to make friends, so I really don't care about your opinions on muck-raking.

This is all simply business...I want what I paid for. I have no personal beef with this user. I will do what I have to to get what I paid for, or make sure nobody on here will ever want to do business with this user again.

I will be happy to request this thread to be deleted by a mod if the user will follow through with their end of the bargain.

That sucks bro... hope you get what you paid for... nothing pisses me off more than a deadbeat seller or scammer!

Wow that's been awhile since you bought it. It must be a scam. I hope you get this resolved.

If things don't work out, I have a stock exhaust manifold with an EGT tap sitting in my garage if you're interested.

I can't vouch for the non replies, and I hope that my devil's advocate prediction might be right. Spokane was slammed with 26 inches of snow the following Wednesday (which closed the airport and stopped delivery of every parcel company for a couple days). It's been unrelenting pretty much since. By the time I left my mom's house (just north of Spokane) on Saturday, she had 39 inches of snow. Plus given the holidays..

Aaron always seemed like a pretty cool guy to me.

Willing to bet he still has internet access and could just reply to PM's...

I have to deal with crappy weather all the time...if he would've manned up early and let me know the situation, I would be cool.

Someone having my money and then dropping off the face of the earth...not cool.

sorry to hear this - if you paid via paypal contact or start a case with them soon because after 30 days after the sale, paypal wont help much. Good luck with getting this resolved.

Something similar happened to me. Like someone said above, file a claim with paypal. More than likely paypal will prove to be worthless, so hopefully your paypal acct is funded with a credit card. Contact your cc company and tell them that you are the victim of fraud. They'll back charge paypal and then paypal will go after the seller. As sad as it is to say, this is becoming a more common issue.
