Been a lurker here for a couple years but really enjoy the forum.

Anyways, my name is Nathan, I live in Kingston and work at the submarine base at Bangor, I drive a white 98 vr-4 on bronze 5-zigens. I see lots of EVO's around here, if you ever see me dont feel weird about waving me down, I would like to meet more car folks around here, the 3/S crowd is kind of pathetic, sadly.

My only advice is that everybody is friendly at meets, regardless of what Mitsubishi you drive (please, no subies). Just come up and say hi! Usually I need to associate a face to the forum handle to remember people.

And if your car is ultra-super-seksay-clean then you can park next to me Otherwise, Yahu is always happy to have the dirty cars next to him and his hot mess.

You should try to come to the Alki meet this Saturday if you don't already know about it

 

I live just off canyon rd. I see quite a few 8s & 9s around only a couple have given nods I have respect for the 4g63 and in hindsight probably shoud've went that route. The X is starting to be a head ache, still love it though.

 

What kind of headaches? Maybe we can help?

 

Which cross-street on canyon? You probably only live a couple minutes away from me and Im surprised I have never seen you before as Im always on canyon rd. Don't take it personal about some of the other 8/9s around us, I always try to wave to another evo but only a few of them actually acknowledge my existence on the road. Not really sure why though and it seems most of them are not on the forum either.

Just the common problems with the X my clutch went @ 9,000 miles replaced it, then blew the cmc, tire replaced right before that and now the clutch is sliping again, I should've gone with a stage 2 or 3, oh well live and learn

 

clutch @ 9k? What are you doing??? Get a better clutch?
