Hi all. I'm very new to the Evo game. Just bought a 2003 White EVO GSR this weekend. Trying to learn some things about it. I know it's been upgraded a little bit. Fun to drive, and very different from the GTI I just traded in for it.

I will definitely try! I'm getting more information from the dealer. They said it has a shep transmission and upgraded clutch. I want to get some validity on this. I've been doing a lot of reading, finding out what noises were normal haha

 

It's a Mitsubishi... a lot of noises are normal

 

So clutch chatter under deceleration and sometimes in idle is okay? Haha. My GTI did it too, but I had a lightened flywheel. And I was used to A LOT of noise. But then again, it was a VW.

I'm from Monroe, and I know of one existing WW in Monroe. I think it is wingless with VII tails. There might have been another one awhile ago, but haven't seen it recently.

 

New to the EVO game traded in my 05 SRT-4 for a blue 06 EVO ill post some pics when i can, so is there a local meet somewhere? coming from Cali i know we had tons but up here not so much.

 

Theres a meet coming up this saturday at Alki beach in Seattle. We usually hangout there for a bit then go eat. Everyone is cool and friendly.

This is really dissapointing. Not only was the SRT-4 a better chassis, but Electric Blue is a really ****ty color. I'm sorry. Maybe trade for silver like the really cool people in Seattle do?

 

Yeah, the CT9A is known to be a horrible chassis
