Ok, so I went to the track last night to have some fun. Stock 8 RS with an intake, and turbo back exhaust. Basically stock, slightly elevated boost. What are the stock guys getting down the 1/4? Here were my times for the night:

1. 13.8 at 98.4 mph, 2.00 60 ft

2. 13.4 at 104.5 mph, 1.95 60ft

3. 13.3 at 104.4 mph, 1.87 60ft

4. 13.3 at 104.9 mph, 1.93 60ft

But basically I'm pretty excited. 5.5K 2 step lauches were bomb!

 

I did a 13.1 when I was on stock clutch and hard pipes...

 

i have intake, tbe, fuel pump, flashed ecu, and a good tune i ran a 12.3 best time. ur times for being prett stock are good. and 13.1 on hard pipes and stock clutch are good. u must be a pretty good driver.

 

Damn, that's impressive! My next mod are hard pipes. I got a front mount IC already just waiting. Will see if that help up the times a bit, but I doubt it.

 

Thanks... I forgot to add that I did have a boost controller with a slight tune (no wideband) at 22psi...

lol gotta add the tune. mods aint nothing without a tune lol. soon as i get back from iraq, im hoping to be in the tens easily. im dumping a butt load of money into the evo. i cant wait.

Pretty good times, the LICP hard pipe should help slightly

 

i hope i can get low 12s now.. Last time i did 12.2 at bermerton and blew Transfercase and tranny.. now i have sheptran stage 3 T/C and Sheptran extreme rebuild IX with VIII gears (few) tranny...

 

congrats thats a good time i ran 12.7 @ 109 with only intake hard pipes n boost at 21 psi n no tune everything else was stock including my clutch

 

Bad *** times guys. Sucks you blew the t/c and tranny, but now you have a better one. my time still stands at a 12.3. After iraq im expecting 10's easily with all the mods i will be dumping in to the 9. thats the only good thing about iraq, you get paid big lol
