I have currently been cited for modified exhaust 3 times here in Tri-Cities area (eastern washington) and have gotten the two I have fought dismissed. I urge any and all to contact Senator Jerome Delvin with your concerns on this matter as in 2006 the law was changed removing the 95dB limit. I have contacted him personally and he's aware of out plight so pelt him w/ emails, etc. I also urge all to contact SEMA about the bogus exhaust law here. Anyways, enough soapbox. BTW, I currently run a custom Kaizenspeed 3" TB w/ HKS Carbon/Ti muffler and high flow cat. Since I seem to draw so much attention from local Law Enforcement (WSP & Kennewick Police Department) I have installed a silencer and have a Sound Performance boost activated cut-out going in when I install the new HTA3586 . (As soon as Brad over at RLZ Engineering actually gets me my head for the build). If you have any questions please feel free to PM me. I however would recommend whatever you choose tuck it in high and tight and don't make it too shiny or rock a large diameter tip. I know it sucks but it's something we are going to have to deal with unless we do something about it.

GReddy Evo II. It hides the majority of the can behing the bumper so you don't see anything hanging down. The tip is larger than stock and it is a bit louder than stock but i've never had any issues with getting pulled over for this setup. Nor have most of the other guys in the NW who run it.

The APS TBE is hands down the quietest exhaust I have heard... Sounds stock IMO but it gets louder at WOT

Same here Bro, I try not to get tickets as well and keep MOST of my racing on the track I had it confirmed by a buddy of mine w/ local law enforcement cops are ticketing imports w/ what appears to be modified exhaust or people with stereos turned up. All has to do with the budget deficit over here. Gets kinda old, but I love my EVO and refuse to park it on the weekends. If you ever make it over this way "Hollar" at me. If any of you come to Race Wars at Royal City look for the Kaizenspeed Boys as I'll be among them and come say "Hello". Hopefully I can get Aaron and Lucas to make their way over here as well. My boys are Honda Tuning champs and it would be nice to have a few EVOs out here to beat up on people

I have a Cobb TBE with HFC, it is pretty quiet, but louder than stock. Looks close to stock too. I haven't been pulled over for noise, so its worth considering.
