I know this isn't a for sale forum but I have a evo IX that I would like to sale this weekend as I'll be leaving the country for a while.

Here's the link for my 2006 Mitsubishi Evo IX for sale........I'm located in the Tacoma Washington area, 98444.

Thanks for the interest.

If you know this isn't a for sale forum, then go make it in the for sale section.

I did, I just wanted a broader range of people who would possibly be interested or know someone interested, as I'm limited on time.

^was thinking the same thing, but I don't know if she'll have better luck getting financed. She should have gone straight to her own bank or CU for financing, but not sure if she took our advice.

*edit - oh yeah, also not sure if she wants to jump into the pool with a car that needs work right off the bat. She seems to be having enough problems with her current mitsu.

ahhh I didn't see it was blown up (essentially). It looks by the pics that the turbo is in upside down too. Isn't that the oil drain line coming in on the top of the turbo?

Well, he might have subtracted the cost of the rebuild from the overall cost of the vehicle, but you also have to account for the:

1) Time
2) Pain the *** to get it running again
3) Grief
4) Extra costs that may incur

Its just not worth it IMO. Plus if anything goes down, you won't be able to contact him since he'll be out of the country.

I wouldn't buy it. Unless, you have money and plan on stripping the thing anyways.

It is definitely interesting but to put it all together in a day is just too quick.

It has a seized balance shaft and motor will not start, the balance shaft belt came through the cam gear cover and the motor will probably have to be rebuilt
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this. So the belt went through the cam gear cover but only the engine needs to be rebuilt? Maybe its just my ignorance, can someone give me a better idea of what they think he means?

Pictures of the engine bay would probably help to determine the amount of damage.

Just a guess here but the belt timing strips, and Mr. Piston meets Miss Valve and they make babies?
