Some PR vids

some short youtubes from PR on 6/24. This is the GoPro hero wide, with the motorosports suction cup mount. I didn't have enough ***** to attach to the front, so I attached to the trunk so that I could cable it to the wing in case of failure.

aeroweenie was there as well... he got by me at least once, so I'll have to digup that footage. <*cough*althoughhewasrunningRcompounds*cough*>

GT3 chasing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59vih4rL4A8
M3 chasing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g4GJd5PTos

I'm running DS2500, motul, WORKS lines, Forged duct kit, WORKS springs, English Racing tuned 340/320 @ 22psi

Nice videos! It was good to meet you and your supercharged-Miata-driving coworker. Had a blast, 180 track miles. And yes, the 255 R888s allowed me to carry quite a bit more speed through the curves, and brake later, than you could with street tires.

We seemed comparable under acceleration which can only mean one thing - my car is also ER tuned.

Also, I'm running Pagid RS29 front pads, DS2500 rears, Perf Friction 2-piece front rotors, Stoptech SS lines, Cobb TBE, Forge MBC, 23 psi boost.

It was either the 3rd or 4th session. The M3 that was chasing you was my coworker, I sent him the link. Great shots of him drifting out of 3b and dropping a wheel exiting 6! He is an excellent driver and obviously was driving at the limits of the car.

I really love seeing these videos. I'm going to have to get out there myself and see how it goes. How tough is it on your brakes? Is there a lot of work in getting the car ready? Or any tips on changes that'll go a long way for a track day?

imo minimum bar before going to the track:

Brakes: motul / synthetic fluid, more aggressive pad (DS2500 all around, or DS2500 rear and track pad up front). This is really the only component changes you need before tracking a factory Evo. Dont set your ebrake in the paddock, after the session unless you want new rotors

Tires: never repaired / plugged, plenty of rubber

Oil: changed and full

General: inspection, make sure there are no existing suspension or mechanical issues that might trip you up at the track.

I had an in-car camcorder as well... just need some time to export the video. I'll post some on youtube maybe today. It's definitely handy-cam video quality, but has great audio!

I'm going out again as soon as I can roll my fenders... 7/21 is the next full proformance day. might hit the power lunch on 7/6. cheers

ProFormance also added July 28. I'm going either the 21st or 28th.
