Another MS3 --> Evo convert!
I wasn't aware that Cobb's AccessPort was a 'one size fits all' chip. Anyway though, if you had read the thread, you'd have seen where I said that my statement was total bench racing, as it has not been dyno'ed yet, and my statement is based off of what many many others with the same or similar mods are putting down, which is right around 280-310 to the wheels... dyno dependent.
But if it will make everyone feel better, I'll try to have it dyno'ed here in a couple weeks.
Also, as I stated, after 30mph the MS3 would easily beat a stock IX. From a dig the Evo would have a chance. If I drag raced, similarly modded MS3's are trapping 103-107, which if I recall is faster than at least the magazine tested Evo's do.
Again, all bench racing. Find a stock Evo and lets go somewhere.... if it'll make you feel better :-)

My car has ran a 12.1 at 113 with just a turboback, drop in, ecuboost, and a vishnu tune. That was back when it was only 340whp on a dynojet and in Cali heat. I personally don't drag race so I have never tried to back up the time but I know it makes almost 30-40whp more, still on stock turbo at 25psi.

Congrats on purchase man. I wish I could keep my MS3 when I get my next Evo. My Speed is around 300whp, and is definately faster that a stock VIII....in a straight line only. I know, I owned one. I like the comfort of my MS3, but definately miss the performance of the evo.
FWIW: On the same dyno (dyno dynamics) my '03 Evo with 272's, MBC, and Dynoflash made 261whp. My MS3 with cai, inlet, test pipe, AccessPORT 91oct tune made 254whp. I should be a good bit higher than that now, but hope to trade for a X before I find out.

The only time I've had my car on the drag strip was pre-tune, bone stock. I ran a 13.5 @103mph. Mind you, I don't launch hard, I slipped the hell out of the clutch, and I shifted into 5th 25' from the finish line. A real drag racer could of easily dropped a full second off my time. That was BONE stock.
13.5 @ 103 will not turn into 12.5 just from a better driver, the MPH isn't there
If you had stated 13.5 @110, depending on the car I could see 12.8 with a super fly driver and a perfect 60ft
103 won't get you to 12.5

Still, a stock Evo going 12.5 seems a little crazy to me too. What do I know though, I'm a twisty guy.
Yup, road racer here, we only drag race between corners lol! I dont' really know either, I just know I wasted a lot of time on the 1320'
