Are you trying to dump this on someone else?

The mod from Evom says we won't make any $'s from a strictly Evo/guy calender. Perhaps we need the talent and Evo calender instead? We still need the samplers, but I think the guys are a little scared although you'd think that they'd be used to posing by now.

Yup, I'll make the calendar. It will be after christmas (getting new camera) Also need a pic of Kyle with the evo... So shall I used the pics that Angie took of the guys? Or should we do like a 2 photos per month thing? Ex: Photo of the guy( so he can pose/act sexy) then photo of the car? And maybe a little describtion of the guy and car (hobbies, car mod-make/model/year) Any sugguestions?

Nope nope. When we were out eating after the snowboarding trip she said she was going to make it... so I technically didn't dump it on her

I have the Nikon D40x DSLR. It is 10.2 mp instead of the regular D40 which is 6.x. My pics can usually be printed out pretty large. I love it! Got it from Costco in a kit that came with another lense.

Ha. The whole Nikon vs Canon debate is really just personal preference. I think those two you mentioned were on different scales though price wise. All I can say is good luck. I'm a Nikon person, but its 50/50 out there between the two.

Woah, two different classes of cameras. The Nikon D90 is "closer" to the Rebel series. If you're looking at that price range check out the D90 vs the T1i is probably more appropriate.

Usually great cameras until it comes to high ISO settings, hope this helps. BTW my camera of choice in this class is the Olympus e620. Very light, compact, and a ton of features. Add a pancake lens and you suddenly have a pocketable DSLR.

well i was looking at the nikon d3000 its a 10.2 mp and i guess its a good first time user SLR. i saw it at bestbuy for $449 on sale. then i was looking at the canon rebel for the same price but i dont know what model it was. my friend has the rebel and he loves it. but i read alot of reviews on both sides.

If you're not willing to spend $1500+ to get into the better bodies and lenses, Canon is probably better. Their n00b modes are easier to use, and their low end lenses tend to be a bit better. Once you get into the D90/TIi range, it more comes down to what lens you're using. At the mid range Nikon wins (IMO) out because of their 18-200VRII lens which Canon still hasn't matched. But that lens plus a D90 is still north of $1500. Around $1000 the Canon T1i + two lens kit seems to be the winner.

One thing, don't get caught up in megapixels. 5 megapixels will print an 11x17 picture at 150 DPI, which will be visually acceptable to most people. 7.2 megapixels is 300 DPI at 8x10. More megapixels is basically a dickwaving thing, just like horsepower wars in family sedans.

Only due to a lack of customers.

I thought you meant the 3000 instead of the 300. I was like, whoa, that's a huge price diff, then I saw the 3000 was in the same range.
