Post a pic of your Shift knob
Hey guys i was thinking about changing my shift knob from stock so i was wondering you could post some pics of your shift knobs you have on your cars with the brand to give me a idea of what i might want. thx!
Weighted ones supposedly do, heavier make it shift smoother.
Then there are taller/shorter ones that will slightly extend or shorten the throw, but I don't know if this would even be noticeable unless you got a baseball bat and put it on there.

@Rob - yes, get one heavy enough and the momentum will help it go into gear. Here is a shot of my previous Blox490 in Gunmetal (Eric bought it off of me)

I still run the same knob but in Platinum Gunmetal, which is a fancy way of saying mirror finish. The 490 is literally for 490 grams, which is ~1 pound.
If I were to go with a Ti knob it would likely be from Fortune. They look just as nice as ARC IMO, but they are roughly half the price (unless you pick up a used ARC).

I know this is in the NW section and I have an STi, but I thought I'd contribute.
I didn't think it would make a difference, so I never cared. But a guy with an 08 STi was making some custom made ones with CNC for super cheap and they looked real nice (two pieces of metal with delrin in the middle) for 35 bucks. So I bought one just for kicks.
Definitely made a difference in shifting power and smoothness.
If you can find someone with a CnC machine and get a custom one for cheap, that's the way to do it. Then you'll have a one-of-a-kind knob.
