Great roads around Vancouver WA

Hey everyone, so I'm here in Vancouver for a hair over a week housesitting, and even though I've been down here a number of times before, this trip I actually have time to get out and check out some more of the roads.

Any recommendations for some great curvy, scenic roads around here? Either direction is good, and I'm thinking anything that could make a could half day to full day cruise. One road I really love (and would like to find more similar to, or better) is the stretch of highway 14 within the Columbia Gorge National Scenic area.

Also, I noticed that there isn't really anything going on in the region over the next week, so if anyone is up for cruise let me know! I have plenty of free time haha

Highway 14 up to The Dalles or Hood River is a nice section of road for sure, it wont let you down.

That's the highway I came into town on this evening. I drove it last Christmas on my trip down, and it was completely different today with all of the trees/plants grown in.

There are lots of roads north of Camas (about 12 miles east of Vancouver) that are pretty nice to drive.

I don't know how clear the roads are right now but going over hood is a blast.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. This is the route I've mapped out for my run - can anyone offer their thoughts on it, maybe take different roads around what I've picked out? I've never been through Mt. Hood national forest before.
