I'm flying in early Saturday afternoon, so I should see you guys at some point! Flight leaves out of El Paso, TX at 615am. Last time I get to see any Mitsus before heading to the sandbox.

Driving next year.

Thanks for continuing to check in with me yesterday Lucas. Even when you certainly had other things to keep you occupied.

Best of luck at the event, everyone!

Well we just woke up got in at 3am local time. The Dmax did great had to drop the tire pressure to smooth out the ride on I80. 100psi was to much for that crappy road.

Will get some pics up later to day.

Yes, you're not mistaken! I went 07' and 08' missed out on last year's, because I had just transferred to WA, otherwise I would have been there. It's definitely worth the trip, beer, friends, Mitsubishis, and the sweet scent of Race gas early on a sunday morning! If you have never gone before, try to make it out sometime.

All the hotels and the campground are packed every year, usually you have to reserve your rooms a couple months in advance. I'm staying at the campground this time. Heading to the airport in a hour!

Pic from sunday raceday 08'

Posting from the iPhone

so the shootout was amazing jeff set a awd auto rec of 160mph and had one of his best races of his life in the sub final agenst Jesse red rockett both ran 8.8 but Jesse got a better 60ft and beat us by .06 so it was a killer race just wish it was the final sence it was a low 10sec and Jesse in the finals. Was huge bummer for Jesse they did not run the tree auto start and he was stalled up for over 4sec and broke the trans at the line so a low 10sec car that qualedfied 8 or 9 won the event. Crazy how racing can go.

We left Norwalk around 9 pm est Sunday

We are in nebraska now

Man, you guys are scootin pretty good.

Thanks to the ER crew for making the trip out! It was a pleasure to have you here and meet all of you. We hope that you enjoyed yourselves.

Congrats on the new record Jeff! The car was scootin' thats for sure. Here's a shot I snapped from the top corner of the Grandstands when I was shooting the parking lot/pit shots.
