Note to self make sure we take a shower before our trip home. Racing all day sweating our *** off then jumping in the truck for a 40hr drive home makes for a very stinky truck. Hit all the seats with lysol and it still stinks like Ball sweat.

11 mpg? How much weight are you hauling? My 5.9 gets 13 hauling 26,000+

Well there is no comparing a Cummins MPG to Durmax. Duramax just tows nicer and has more towing power but mpg sucks. I owned a 95 12v dually and have a 93 chev with a 95 12v motor.

Was about 16k going to the shoot out with a big Enclosed which has lots of frontal area. I would say my Dmax is down 3-4mpg over my 95 12v in all situations. If I were to justify mpg I would say my top towing speed most of the time with the 12v was 65-70mph due to gearing ware as with the Dmax I can do 75-80mph.

After Crashing my Dodge into a wall I will never own a manual truck again. Every thing is fine if you are down shifting and using the exhaust break but in a panic situation. Manual Dodges are fail since the breaks will not work with much of a load unless you are down shifting keeping the rpm up.
