uh oh, I broke something...

I posted in general as well, but hoping someone local has an idea or wants to hear it for themselves...

Sitting at the drive thru for taco bell this morning i heard an odd noise, was praying to god it was the 89 prelude in front of me... But he left and the noise stayed.

It is a metallic ringing/vibrating sound... at first i thought it may be a loose washer from the mud flaps i just installed the other day, but they are snug tight.

I popped the hood and could not hear it from there, it sounds like it is coming from the driverside wheel well, my lugnuts are good and the mudflap is secure - it also seems that if i have the clutch depressed the noise is non existent, only noticed at idling,... im praying it is just because it is so cold... any ideas?

While I appreciate your response and willingness to help, could you please explain other than stating it will blow up?

What was the factor on why your car blew up, what exactly does blow up mean to you, and what did you do to fix it?

LOL..dont need to get all butthurt

But seriously, that's the best way you can describe it? There a whole LOT of metal under your hood and come on, it is an engine so LOTS of vibration.....

More than likely your clutch is pretty worn. Mine does it also and it's because my clutch is old and abused

Time to switch to a twin

Lol i didnt see your JK post before my last, . . . Yeah that really is the best i can describe it, it is not under the hood at all, its from the driver side front wheel well, metal ringing noise almost like someone is playing a beautful triangle lol. I will see how the sound quality is on my cell phone and record it after work - i have to stay till 6 am today -.-
