New owner of 2011 EVO GSR
i owned a 350z roadster before the evo. the only thing i miss about the thing is the... ahmmm uhh??? nothing. i cant thing of anything. nuff said.
EVO FTW
well rwd is fun from time to time, thats the only thing i can see myself missing about the z... i also liked the low rpm cruising on the highway and still having power to pass easily... and a 6spd... ok so thats 3 things
Mod wish list is ETS quiet cat back, cosworth drop in, and a tune from ER, and thats all I'm gonna do for power for a while. I'll prolly get this done within a month or 2.
Then I'm gonna do little crap like a short shifter, shifter bushings, some interior bits and pieces, wheels spacers, etc... maybe the magnus clutch slave cylinder
I'm not planning to get to crazy with the suspension, I wanna wait for GTWorx to come out with their springs and prolly get those along with the whiteline roll center kit, maybe rear sway.
I like the stock wheels, so those will prolly stay. I wanna paint them flat black or matte black eventually.
then after all that's done, I'll get back to making more power. I think 310-320 whp should keep me entertained for a while
That's the plan anyway, we'll see how it goes

A difference I noticed is the clutch take up is different, it's now at about the middle of the pedal travel, as opposed to near the very top, a great upgrade IMHO. That has me thinking maybe the clutch slave cylinder isnt plastic anymore, so if it's some sort of metal now I won't have to upgrade to the Magnus unit.
I'm glad it doesn't have the chrome mirrors though...
great purchase! i hope she treats you well and welcome to the boards. All the NW guys are really cool and I think by far this is one of the coolest crowds to be a part of! I wish to meet more of you guys soon when I grad in the spring!
